The Plastic Product Formers 5 gal. Square Utility Jug with Hose is made with only the highest quality virgin high-density polyethylene, including 30 percent more material than standard containers to withstand the roughest treatment. This 5 gal. container is subjected to a 15-point quality test and carry a 3-year limited warranty against cracks, leaks, or splitting. This white square jug features an ergonomically contoured handle, a bottom grip for easy pouring, and a non-breakable multipurpose cap with rubber gaskets. NOTE: This container is solely intended for use with non-fuel or non-kerosene products and must not be used to transport fuel or kerosene. Great Utility Jug!

I have done a little research, and Plastic Product Formers is owned and operated by VP Racing Fuels. These high quality utility jugs are made right along side the VP Racing Fuels Sportsman jugs at their production facility, which is at the same location as the VP Racing Fuels Fulfillment Center in Elmendorf, TX. It is no coincidence that these utility jugs are almost exactly the same as the VP Racing Fuels Sportsman jugs. Both jugs have the exact same cap, the exact same product description, the same 3-year limited warranty, and both have a 4 digit model number. The hose that comes with this utility jug is exactly the same as the VP Racing Fuels standard hose. There is no difference in quality between the two jugs. If there is, it is minimal. If you want to spend more money just to have a VP Racing Fuels logo on the side of your jug, go for it. Or, you can save some money, and buy this utility jug, and just slap a VP Racing Fuels sticker on the side of it. As for the few negative reviews, they were written mainly due to jug operator error. Do not over tighten the cap, or you will crush the rubber gasket inside the cap, and it will leak. Also, make sure you do not cross thread the cap when screwing it on, or it will leak. You have to remove the red plastic cover in the center of the cap, in order to install the hose. Gently screw in the hose, or it could break, and/or leak. Do not overfill the jug, or turn it completely upside down when dispensing liquid, or liquid will leak from the vent cap. You can purchase a plastic hose bender online that bends the hose at a 45 degree angle, to make dispensing liquid much easier.

Everyone needs to read the little fine print!!!! These are not fuel jugs!!! They are a junk knock off and will destroy all your motors!!!! They are placed in the store in the automotive department and so they are selling as fuel jugs!!! Don't buy this junkie product because it breaks down and everything goes in your fuel and contamination begins!!! They need to be sued for the way to place this product and make you think it's for fuel!!!! A normal man or woman who is looking for a few jugs would grab it and not read the stickers because it placed in the automotive department!!!! They are setting you up for catastrophic failure to your equipment!!!

Threaded top is deformed, causing leaks

Seemed like good jug to start, basically a VP jug for 2/3 the price. However, noticed the rubber o-ring doesn't fit very well and started falling out after the first couple of uses. Biggest issue is the threaded top shape. It's more like a "D" than a perfect circle, so it won't seal up air-tight. Makes the jug basically pointless for me.

DO NOT USE FOR FUEL!!! Every fuel system on 3 mowers (2 rounds of repairs on all) and pressure washer I have used with the fuel canister has been damaged. Even with fresh gasoline from a different station...It didn't leak, but the canister has to be deteriorating from the fuel...
