Q: How does one pour it and at same time, press the red tab? I don't have three hands> Also the FMD makes for splash back at the pump so that you get kerosene all over the tank. Lastly, with no cap on the nozzle, how do you keep sand out ?

- A: Matt, i am sorry that you're having difficulty using your spout. Reading through the review it appears that you are using the spout incorrectly making it much more difficult to use. I will link a short video to help you properly use your spout. Also the spout comes with a red dust cap that closes the opening of the spout so the sand should stay out. I'll take better care of this one
4 months ago
It works just as good as the spout it replaced, except this time I won't handle it so roughly. I would overtighten the cap and that tore the seal. Then I let someone use the can and the finished the spout off not knowing how to use it.

Dumb and dangerous
It simply doesn’t work. When you try to push that red button or lever on the nozzle it doesn’t work. It was a poor design by an even poorer engineer. It actually will makes this product more hazardous cause people are going to just take the nozzle off and pour it out of the can. Only an engineer can screw up something that should be simple.
No, I do not recommend this product.
