Q: Can I rest the spout against the edge of the car’s fuel hole to support the weight, or would this risk bending/dislodging the spout and causing a leak? How heavy is this can when filled with gas? How long does it take to empty completely into a car?

- A: Product has a push button design for filling, can not be rested against the car's spout to fill. Manufacture's page notes that it fills twice as fast as a regular gas can Weight is approx. 3-5 lbsa year agoHelpful?

High price, not high quality!

I purchased this after growing tired of cheap gas cans, with their horrible spout set ups. I figured for top price, I would get a top notch product. Unfortunately, this has not been the case. While the spout is the best "EPA approved" spout I have seen from common gas cans, the plastic quality is the same cheap milk jug. Mine split at the seam on the handle after one season.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Too many design issues and leaks

I have a 2gal in same design which worked for a couple months but the 5 gal just leaked immediately - sadly I didn’t use it or discover it within 30d return period. The weak point is the collor anx lid design. It has an insufficient gasket and the whole thing has too much wobble and movement. I love the cap and I’m ok with how it’s dispensed but with older hands it’s hard to depress the buttons and lift the can. And getting the lid off to refill is a nightmare for anyone with those plastic teeth. I just cannot recommend this can after having two fail and either the design or quality control is bad. I’m spending the money for a metal can next time.
