Received the wrong chicks and had to wait over a week for a replacement. Once I got the replacement every chick died within a few hours. Now I’m stuck with 10 chicks I didn’t want since they don’t take returns. Guess I’ll be looking for someone local who breeds welsummers

Ordered 10, shipped me 11. All chicks came live, and days before the ship said they would, which is cool and not, bc I had to scurry to be prepped for them. Now going into week 4, they're all doing great. First night, one got its eye pecked (Now named Capt. Winky), but thankfully although it still weeps a little, I kept it clean with Neosporin and bought some bird wound spray, and every couple days I clean it and she is doing great! Can still see, weeping is almost completely stopped, and she is one of the bigger chicks (which they are now Pullet sized). Their appetite is through the roof, LOVE wheatgrass, parsley, and of course their medicated feed. I add some probiotics and electrolytes that TSC sells as an all in one and the little girls love it. Water is always at least room temperature, and their litter is Edison Sand. I HIGHLY recommend Edison Sand. Acts as grit, doesn't harbor bacteria, cleans up like cat litter, and if you keep it clean, and sift an area of the brooder, they take dust baths in it too! Well worth the money.

They all came alive and well! Tractor supply was so good. They took em out of the shipping box and had em under a lamp with food and water. I also got an extra 1! 11 instead of 10!
