- A: To attach the GroundWork 8 in. Bulb Auger to your Ryobi 18V drill, you simply insert the auger's drive shaft into the drill's chuck and tighten it securely. The auger is designed to fit standard 3/8 inch or larger drill chucks Attaching the Auger 1.Ensure Safety First: Make sure the Ryobi 18V battery is removed from the drill before you begin to prevent accidental operation. 2.Open the Drill Chuck: Twist the end of the drill's chuck counterclockwise by hand until the jaws open wide enough to insert the auger's drive shaft. 3.Insert the Auger: Slide the shaft of the GroundWork 8 in. Wonderful tool!
This 8in auger is wonderful help for a local gardener. We use it to dig holes for all our transplants - tomatoes, peppers, cantaloupes. Saves our hands from blister, by not doing it with a hand shovel, and also SAVE a LOT of time!
