I've used this stove for a main heat source for 3 years, going on 4. I bought it because it was the cheapest new EPA stove I could find. I works fine, but you get what you pay for. Has no way to control intake air, just pulls air in from the ash box. Only has a control for the secondary air that feeds the burn tubes. My chimney is over 30' long and I had to installed a manual damper to keep the stove from running away. Installation manual insists on having the chimney be 16' and not using a damper, obviously that's not possible in a lot buildings. I get about 4-6 hours of burn out of the firebox, burning mostly Ash and Red Oak. depends on the wood obviously. I like the ask box, but I wish it was sealed better, and that it had a proper intake air control. I also wish it was larger, but that's on me. Glass does not stay clean under an circumstances, the first year I used it I would clean the glass every morning after that I gave up and now you can see through it. even after you clean it you can't see through it. It's very difficult to clean out the top section of the stove, over the burn tubes. The burn tubes are delicate and can get damaged easily if you remove them. The steel plate that it is built out of has warped over time and it has started to leak at the back where the welds are. I ended up dis assembling the stove this summer and sealing everything up. I don't regret buying this stove. Especially with the 30% tax credit pretty much paid for the stove. However, I would not buy it again unless I was planning on putting it in a small cabin or workshop that would not be used every day.

I bought this woodstove 2 yrs ago. The first year I had no complaints. Last year, I’d get smoke that did not ventilate well and fires wouldn’t stay lit unless I kept the door open. When the fire got going I’d close the door, shortly after the fire would go out again. This year, I’ve had a fire in it for a week, same problem. Did not have a fire for a few days in it until today. Well not only did the woodstove fill up with smoke, it came out of the seams in the back and threw the piping pieces. Filled my basement full of smoke. Had to take out the burnt wood, put outside, ran a fan to push the smoke out the window.

Never was delivered. I could not get any help from the store manager or support online. Don’t waste your time not capable of delivering merchandise but capable of charging the credit card.
