The DuraVent DuraPlus 36 in. Triple-Wall Stainless Steel Chimney Pipe is for use with the triple-wall, all-fuel DuraPlus Chimney. This stainless steel chimney pipe can be used with wood stoves, fireplaces, furnaces, boilers, stoves, ranges, water heaters, or other appliances fueled by wood, oil, coal, or gas. Our easy-to-use triple-wall chimney pipe is designed to stay cool on the outside, provide a hot draft on the inside, boost stove efficiency, and provide for a fire safe design that protects the chimney and the building. It is designed for normal, continuous operation at 1000°F flue gas temperatures. The DuraVent chimney pipe features two insulating layers, ceramic blanket and plus air space.Limited Lifetime

- A: Hello, thank you for your question. Per the vendor, "We ‘re not sure we fully understand your question. If you have a 6” DuraPlus Chimney Cap it will fit right on to a 6” DuraPlus 6DP-36SS or any other 6” DuraPlus Chimney length. There isn’t some separate adapter needed to attach the cap. If however, you don’t have 6” DuraPlus Chimney, the 6” DuraPlus Chimney Cap will not fit it and there are no adapters to make it properly connect to a different chimney."10 months agoHelpful?

Chimney Savings

Used the DuraPlus chimney system to replace a 40+ year old wood stove and chimney. The DuraPlus system is much less expensive than many of the other brands/options and installation was easier than expected.
Only issue with this system is that the sections "twist-lock" together, which is not very strong. We ended up buying a bracing system to provide greater strength, but the bracing system isn't available from TSC.

I wouldn't recommend this product, it's made from cheap materials and the instructions are not clear. It's falling apart as I'm installing it.
