Q: Will nozzle work with manual fuel pump
7 years ago1 Answer
- A: I would assume you're referring to the hand pump as a manual fuel pump? If so an automatic nozzle will NOT work on a hand pump due to pressure. However, a manual nozzle would work, although we do not recommend it, but you would have to hold the nozzle open while pumping which would be difficult with one person so we highly recommend using an open nozzle or ball valve nozzle. I hope that answers your question? If not feel free to give us a call. Thank you, GPI sales team.7 years agoHelpful?
Q: What is the difference between an automatic nozzle and a manual nozzle?
7 years ago1 Answer
- A: Hello, The Automatic nozzle is like a gas station nozzle you can lock open and it will flow until the fuel gets to the top of the tank and shuts off the nozzle automatically. The Manual nozzle you must keep the handle squeezed for fuel to flow and as soon as you let off the handle the fuel will stop flowing. Hope this helps, Thank you, GPI Sales Team.7 years agoHelpful?
Q: Would this nozzle work for a gravity feed set up?
7 years ago1 Answer
- A: Hello, an automatic nozzle will not work in a gravity flow system. You will want to use a manual nozzle for that application. Thank you, GPI Sales Team.7 years agoHelpful?

Good enough could be better.

I bought it for filling water troughs. Works like it should. I have a 40-50 psi water regulator on my spigot and the nozzle functions as it should. The handle can be finicky at times to get started but once its flowing it will shut off when the water reaches the nozzle. No more over filled water troughs and flooded horse stalls. A little over prices in my opinion though for only one flow setting.

Not compadable with gravity feed

Not compadable with gravity feed, it wont even pump without pressure. Like 30psi pressure.

Poor decision
Bought this nozzle as a replacement for an old leaking nozzle. I went with the more expensive option thinking it would last longer being in the elements. I have a 300 Gal gravity fed tank and the nozzle does not work. Going back to what has worked for the past 15 years. I do not recommend this product.
