Heats a 50 gallon stock tank at 9F w/ wind&snow

Are you wondering like me will this heat a 50 gallon stock tank as it says it’s a bucket heater? We were using the 250/500 watt bucket heaters and they wouldn’t always keep up. But was worried about the amperage as the 1500 watt heaters are too much amperage for the distance we are out at for water. So we gave this 1000 watt heater a shot. so far at 9F/high wind/snow we are ice free on a 50 gallon stock tank. Happy!

ELECTROCUTED MY HORSE AND DOG
I am lucky they didn't die, or I didn't die.
I couldn't figure out why the horse quit drinking! Thanks for the vet call!
Dog went screaming after it was zapped!
I am lucky I didn't stick my hand in the water to take it out!
Melted the cord into the heavy duty tub!
ANGRY isn't the word I would use!
Now the horse is afraid to drink!

A real lifesaver in the cold weather!

This is the second one I bought for my barn so that I would always have warm water to add to my horses' feed, top off water buckets and do spot cleaning during the Winter months and/or anytime you need warm water. Heats up water quickly. My hot water heater is broken and too costly to replace at the moment, so this is a lifesaver.
