Great for my 50 gallon chicken watering drum however the cord is a little too short. A 10 ft cord wouldnt have costed that much more and would allow you to plug the unit directly into an outlet near the water container. Now I have to use an extension cord to connect this device to an outlet that is only a few feet away.

Poor design

Poorly designed products leading to issue for animals. Avoid at all cost getting their drop in tank heaters. Does not stay flat to the bottom of the tank and ends up on its side or floats vertical if moved because the cord comes from the side instead of the top. That design flaw right there is dangerous to your animals because it touches their nose or the horses figure it's a toy and they pull it out of the tank.
No, I do not recommend this product.
