Great tank heater

Great little tank heater. Had one before and it lasted 4 years. Finally quit so we got another. Takes a beating and still works. Leave it plugged in all the time and it only turns on when cold enough. Will always come back to this brand.

Be prepared for the power required

Thought we would use these for pig water troughs however these require so much power we could not have two on the same circuit. You can also not use (even heavy grade) extension cords for these they need to be directly plugged into the power source. Save yourself time and really read the details before you buy.

I've used these for years with out issue. It seems some less than intelligent people have commented that you can't have more than one plug- I think it's pretty obvious you don't want to plug more than one heater into an outlet ever or you risk overloading the circuit and risk starting a fire.

Don't buy this one

Had this in a 100 gal tub for my horses, next morning had 1/2 inch of ice on top, horses couldn't drink. Changed to 25 gal tank thought the 100 gal was too much water to de-ice next day same thing. Changed back to the 100 gal with my old heater. Problem solved
