Did not like it. I returned it as it has to be grounded and is not user friendly if you do not have immediate power to your barn or pasture. Says not to plug into extension cords

Very poor design will not float level burned up after three months of use don’t waste your money. I even tried duct tapeing the cord to the top of it because it had burned the first time I put it in because it lays alongside the element. Waste of money and very frustrating. I decided to go with a fountain that bubbles and keeps the water open. Less electricity used and working quite well in my horse tank. Wish I could give it zero stars

Cord comes out right by the heating element. I've had it for a week and the cord is melted and no longer safe to use. Waste of money.

The cord comes out right by heating element and the cheap cord is so stiff it will not bend away from the element. If you put the cord in conduit like it says the cord still keeps the whole thing floating sideways and the element burns up because it’s out of the water. So you take the cord out of th conduit and then the element gets over on the cord and melts the cord into. It’s a piece of garbage product and it’s just a matter of time before it shocks someone’s live stock to death or burns a barn down.
