This is my third shipment of these chicks. All came the same breed of Easter egg we no color variations. First 2 boxes arrived dead, this box 3 came looking dead but noticed they were still breathing able to revive them hopefully they survive. Been nothing but a hassle with getting the Chicks to me alive. Last order was a replacement and they were supposed to be shipped on a certain date and they were not. Didn’t even know they were coming

I ordered 10 and ended up losing 6 chicks. I am very disappointed that ordering chicks has such a high failure rate. I wont be ordering chicks again. My heart breaks to watch so many of them die. I am very frustrated that we can't get the kind of birds we want with any expectation of them being worth the time and money.

I hope my review helps people, especially first time buyers/chick raisers! I am new to raising chicks, I did extensive research on chicks beforehand and got everything ready. Little box for them, heat lamp(a heat plate is best but used what I had), waterer, food plate (with the holes for them to peck through) and some pine bedding. Shipping overall, I wish updates were more readily available but that’s the carriers issue. The chicks were shipped on Monday at 9am and I received the call to pick them up Wednesday at 8am. Being new to this and seeing reviews, I went in expecting the worst but to my surprise, I opened the box to 10 healthy active chicks!! :) I immediately set up their brooding box and gave them a few minutes to orient themselves and warm up. This next part is CRITICAL. Chicks need to be taught to drink and eat they do NOT know without being taught. For water, grab each chick and gently dip their beak in. They’ll pick it up immediately. For food, use your finger to peck the food and this will simulate mama bird coaxing them to eat. This one, they mostly got it but I had one chick distress chirp couple hours later with an empty crop. She hadn’t picked it up so I gave her some fresh yolk through a straw and it’s been a full nighttime between and they’re all quiet content chicks with full crops :) I ordered 10 female Easter eggers and while I know they’re not a “specific breed”, I’m excited to see how they grow up! All 10 chicks are yellow, with a couple bearing black spots throughout. I personally had a great experience online shipping. I hope to come back to update on their breed, egg color, etc!
