I love mine!

I bought 4 starlights May 2020, all are wonderful hens. Three of them are varying degrees of tan and white ombre that lay green eggs, and one is gold, tan, and black that lays the cutest little light tan eggs! She is in the mere 5% that lays this color. Two of my starlights are very social and friendly too--always the first to be all up in my face when I have food. I love the attention though!

No Green Layers
Bought a bunch of supposedly Starlight Green Eggers last summer that are now starting to lay. Tan eggs, not green. I was so excited for green eggs so didn’t mind paying a little more for them. Now I’m annoyed lol

Nice healthy chickens, no green eggs!
I bought 2 of these "green eggers" and 4 Midnight Marans in our local Tractor Supply. I was very happy that they finally had some new varieties, usually just have Rhode Island Reds, Easter Eggers, Buff Orps... At least this is the first time that I bought 6 chicks that I got all pullets, no roos! But not a single green egg to be had. And not even one from the batch of 10 "Olive Eggers" that I ordered here last time. If you want multi-colored eggs, stick with the Easter Eggers. Although I have gotten a few roosters in those batches, they do consistently lay blue and green eggs with maybe a couple brown-eggers.

This is my second batch of baby chicks, but this is my first batch of this kind. They are so beautiful and they are very playful. Can’t wait till they start laying eggs those green eggs.

Not green eggs
I bought EIGHT of them this year in store and with a 5% chance of laying brown eggs I'm considering the lottery. NOT ONE BIRD LAYS GREEN EGGS. All brown. All right. I'll never get chickens at tractor supply again.

Not what I bought
Bought two birds that were sold as starlight green Easter eggers but they look nothing like Hoover has listed and I’ve been told many times they are either golden comets or cinnamon queens. They are 25 weeks old and are not laying . I’ve also been told by several long time chicken farmers that they are not girls. So my question is if the guarantee is 90% and I paid premium pullet price and came home with two males, how is that not 100% wrong?
No, I do not recommend this product.
