The Dee Zee Hardware Series Side-Mount Truck Tool Box is constructed of durable 20 gauge steel. The side-mount tool box includes the same rugged build quality as our other truck boxes, including a crown-style lid with a full-pan double-V stiffener for superior rigidity, a dampened gas shock and self-adjusting strikers for smooth lid operation and lockable paddle handles to keep your tools and gear safe and secure. We like to face adverse natural elements head on, that's why we shield this side-mount truck tool box with a protective, texture black NRT powder-coat finish to increase corrosion resistance and use a closed-cell foam gasket to keep moisture and road sludge outside of the box away from your tools. Q: Why is "DZ Side-Mount Truck Tool Box, 60" - Black" not compatible with my 2011 Toyota Tundra Base 5.5' bed? I have plenty of space from wheel well to top rail of bed. I guess I need to find one at a store and set it in place...

Q: Does this product extend farther into the bed than the wheel wells? Our wells are 6in deep. We to be able to pull our 4wheeler up into the truck bed still.
