The bag is barely different that the one with oatmeal and brown rice. There is no way to tell when it is on the shelf with the butt exposed (except to read #3 Made with wholesome grains). Great other than packaging. This one is 22 LBS.

On top of ongoing paw licking and biting certain parts of his body, my pittie/cattle dog/lab mix started eating grass all the time while also enduring 36-48 hour bouts of very loose stools every 3-4 weeks. When I brought it up to our vet, he said it could food sensitivity or allergy if it continued after a 2-week round of prescription probiotics. Well, it didn't stop so he recommended a limited ingredient dry food with no wheat, corn or soy and a unique protien source he wasn't use to. Blue Basics Salmon/Potato recipe fit the bill and he has been a changed pup (for the better) ever since. He's licking and chewing himself far less, and - as a side benefit - his coat has become much softer and he's shedding a bit less, too. And while he still eats some grass, it's far less than he did before and my vet mentiomed some dogs just like the taste of grass - so he seems to be one of "those" dogs. As a side note, this is also the first food he's had where he tries to "help" me prepare it because he's so excited to eat, sticking his nose in the bag and staying within 6" of me from the time I grab his bowl to prepare his meal. So that's another win.

High quality and large quantity at a decent price. Smells good too when you open the bag. My dogs love it!

Abby our Black Lab really likes this food. It was suggested by our vet. No more licking her paws and constant hot spots. This dog food helped our pup. Lots of tail wagging !!
