The BIC America RtR Eviction Series RtR-EV15 has a heavy-duty 15-in. woofer as well as a magnet that is twice the size of the BIC RtR-1530 magnet! It also incorporates a sealed 5-1/4-in. midrange and mid-high frequency horn tweeter that enables extended output to 116 dB. The outstanding power-handling capability of the RtR-EV15 can accept the output of powerful amplifiers without a whimper and look great while doing so! This floor-standing speaker is also bi-ampable. There are some occasions when it is advantageous to drive the woofer separately from the mid-range and tweeter. This process (bi-amplification) is enabled by 2 sets of gold-plated input terminals-1 set connected to the woofer circuit and the other to the crossover circuit for the mid speaker and the horn tweeter. Gold-plated removable straps connect the two sets of inputs for conventional single-amplifier operation.
