Petmate dog house is perfect!

My mother has two older outdoor dogs. This winter, with all the ice, snow, and cold, they needed more shelter than the front porch could provide. We priced dog houses at several pet stores before going to TS. Huge difference! We purchased a big, sturdy, easy to put together dog house and the dogs were well protected. These houses don't blow over. They are just perfect for medium sized dogs!

Very sturdy, but needs improvments.

I've owned mine for over a year now. On the plus side, it's very sturdy and can be taken apart for cleaning and moving. On the down side, the "hood" is too small to keep the rain and wind out, and there are no drain holes in the bottom. Ended up stapling part of a feed bag to the top of the hood to extend it downward.

Purchased to assist someone who had a dog with NO shelter, and temps were dropping below freezing! I ordered online and picked up at the store after dark. I did not look at the doghouse when it was put in the car. Imagine my shock, the following morning, to see that the house had several places knocked off on the roof, it looked like a $97 PIECE of JUNK. I have reached out to corporate and the local store! Yet no offer to make this right!!! The store manager said find her on my next visit, she would see what she could do!! I shop this store often, NO MORE!!

This is the item that I was given and was sold to me as a This is a brand dog house that I ordered online and picked up in store. It looks used and is color faded and dirty. No discount was offered or provided. I was told they were stored outside and the manager selected the best one available.
