I just bought this Agri-Fab dethatcher today, put it together, and tested it behind my barn. It did an amazing job. I weighed it down with 2 cinder blocks and a bungee cord. I couldn't believe how much thatch it pulled up. Used my Agri-Fab lawn sweeper to pick it all up.

fell apart almost instantly

lift handle bent in first five minute of operation. instructions say up to 70 pounds to keep it from bouncing... 2 hollow cinder blocks (the lightest ones) and the lift handle buckled instantly. i only wish i didn't spend an hour assembling before using for three minutes and returning it

I bought this to dethatch our 1 acre yard. It has worked well and I did not need to add weight to it. It was easy to assemble, the instructions were good. All the parts were in the box plus a few extra bolts and nuts. The instructions were good on how to adjust it for my yard tractor.

DEFECTIVE PART RENDERS JUST-BOUGHT PRODUCT USELESS

It's Sunday so I can't call Cust. Svc. but after spending nearly 3 hours on careful assembly I discovered wheel bracket is defective (a wheel hole is in the wrong place - see photo), so I'm dead in the water... and angry. QA messed up, bigly, on this one. I'll consider upgrading this review... IF I get a replacement, PRONTO.

Works well, assembly took longer was missing 4 of the 1 inch 5/16 bolts. Picked up missing items from hardware store and completed assembly. The tool works great and completed my spring tasks.
