I bought this about a month ago to try to smooth out a very bumpy back yard. I have about 2 acres and the lawn looks beautiful but underneath the ground was very uneven and beat the heck out of me when mowing with my 52in zero turn mower. This width was ideal for my property and mower given the size of my property and the width of the existing ruts from mowing when wet. The roller was simple to put together and worked very well. It didn't turn my lawn into a putting surface but I can see (and feel!) significant improvement and I'm pleased with the product for the most part--it does what you need/want it to do for sure. For my property and my expectations I'm going to have to roll it several times over the next year. I needed something that was both wide and heavy and this model is exactly that, however, you can't roll when the yard to too wet/soggy as it leaves ruts of it's own from the outside edges. When its not wet enough I don't feel like I make much progress for the time and effort! As mentioned, I pull this behind a Toro zero-turn with a 22HP engine and have no trouble and my property has some hills and slopes. The only thing that's frustrating is you really can't make "normal" turns (and I'm NOT referring to zero turns!) going back and forth because the bar is perhaps a little short from hitch to roller but honestly I'm being a little nit-picky. I would definitely buy it again as I can see a noticeable difference it's just not going to be a "one and done" kind of thing for my property.

Opened the box of my 18” x 48” poly roller to find a dented misshapen piece of garbage. One side is bowed in about 2” and another side is pushed out 2”. Bite the bullet and buy steel. Agri-fab is junk!!!
