West Nile Innovator Vetera VEWT + WNV Vaccine offers protection for at least 12 months, helping to prevent disease. The vaccine also helps guard against tetanus and western, eastern and Venezuelan equine encephalomyelitis. VEWT + WNV is designed for easy administration and is safe for horses 4 months and older.How it Works

Vetera VEWT + WNV contains a killed-virus vaccine. It is lab-tested and proven to meet all federal efficacy and safety standards in healthy, immunocompetent, and normal animals. The vaccine's performance level can be affected by impaired immunological competency, individual idiosyncrasies, other treatments, parasitism, disease, nutrition, weather, or stress. Consider these factors when considering reactions or product performance.

Special Precautions

After use, an anaphylactoid reaction could occur. The antidote is epinephrine.

Overdose Information

Contact your closest emergency pet hospital.

Storage

Don't freeze. Store at 35-45°F (2-7°C).

Guidelines set by the AAEP state, "vaccination for West Nile virus is recommended as a core vaccine and is an essential standard of care for all horses in North America."
