If you feel like throwing your money away by all means buy these boxes. Complete garbage from the paint , the rust on the box and hinges. Or if you just want rust stains on your 100'000 dollar work truck buy them. Warranty yeah ok not. Customer service is a joke. They never call or email back. Not even 2 years old and they stated rusting out after 6 months . Tried email and calling with no results. Guess scrap pile they go along with my TS card.

Finish lasted less then 9 months. Rusting and paint is peeling off. I bought the extended warranty but manager at my store told me that no coverage on finish.

Picked up 2 at 2 different stores because I needed them that day. One the finish is perfect and the other looks like a toddler painted or powder coated it.the locks are junk and already broke off one key.

I have previously written an absolutely negative review, based on the totally inadequate paint job on the box. I have 4 layers of paint and 2 part epoxy bed liner on the outsides, on top of the original paint, and the rust still comes back, even with rust converter paint. Now I have had a door come totally detached from the bottom piano hinge. I have hit the hinges with WD40, Master Blaster because the hinges have always rusted, but ALL of the spot welds across where the hinge is attached to the box have totally detached when opening it this morning. Any paint applied could not protect the spot welds when you can't get paint around the weld spots. I live in VT where salt/brine use eats everything, but this is ridiculous.....It has been only 12 months since I installed 4 of these boxes on my flatbed. I am going to buy piano hinges, sand or spin down all the metal on the box, and use nuts and bolts to fix this. If you live in a salt road treatment state, NEVER BUY THESE. They are a good design, but terrible for the paint and sealing quality of the way they are built.
