Beast of a mower, but...

I almost gave this mower 5 stars (and would definitely got with 4.5 if that was an option), but a few things keep it from a 5 star rating...
First, every mower these days should come with a fuel shutoff valve. It would add all of a buck or two to the price and greatly increase reliability. Given the ethanol in so much of our gas these days, it's imperative to run the carb dry if you won't be running the engine again for a couple of weeks. Instructing the owner to drain the tank, rather than just providing a fuel shutoff valve, is silly. Adding one after the fact was a pain, but I managed to squeeze it in there.
Further, for a premium product like this, it would be nice to have a blade stop instead of engine stop when you pause mowing (e.g., to pick up and toss a rock out of the way). Restarting every time is inconvenient, to say the least. Someone who needs a 4WD mower is obviously going to be encountering more obstacles and such. I would have paid a bit more to have a blade stop (rather than just using a tie-wrap to defeat the safety "feature" anyway).
Finally, the protection for belts and such within the blade housing seems great (we'll see how the plastic holds up), but it's lacking sufficient protection for the front wheel/pulley area. First time out mowing I managed to get a small rock caught in the pulley which stopped the front wheel drive from working until I took things apart and got the rock out of there. Hopefully a one-time thing, but it definitely exposed a weakness.
That said, this mower is a beast and I have no regrets purchasing it. It starts easily, mows my hills easily, and looks like it will hold up over time. I love the rubber wheels (so many are plastic these days) and the "Personal Pace" self-propel drive works better than I expected.

Doesn't start after 4 months

I bought the Recycler, model 20353, in September of 2020 and 4 months later it doesn't start anymore. The coil seems to be broken so I have to wait until Monday to contact Toro. Very disappointing because the previous toro I had lasted me over 10 years. The quality certainly has tailed off.

This thing is a BRUTE!!!!

Bought this mower, a couple weeks ago, at my local Tractor Supply here in Deland. Wasn't really looking for an all wheel drive mower, I didn't know this came as one. I bought it!! Glad I did. This think is a monster!!! I thought it would go through the yard, because of the bigger blade. Nope. Looked under, because I had to clean a bit out and it has these notches in the blade!!! No wonder it goes through just about everything!!! I mean, just about everything. Small branches, there are these flowers{??) that were growing in the backyard and the stems were like small tree branches. This thing mowed them right over and they were about as tall as me(5'5") I made a couple of passes, but it was a brute to them. Made sure I topped off the oil, bought good clean gas and a bottle of Startron. I love, that I can adjust the speed with the handle. Was it a little pricey? Maybe a tad more than I was looking to spend, but I'm glad I did. NO regrets. The yard is just under half an acre and the mower works like a charm. Assembled bing, bang, boom out of the box. Have nothing negative to say.

I’ve never had a mower that started so easily and I’ve never had a mower stall so easily. The personal pace is a gimmick, you have to actually push it for it to move and it’s extra hard to pull back because of the useless drive system. Over priced for what it does.
No, I do not recommend this product.
