Q: Can I make this mower mulch without the bag?

- A: Hi, Kimm! Thanks for your question. Yes, this model #21565, can mulch, bag and side discharge. Your machine comes from the factory ready to recycle the grass and leaf clippings back into the lawn. If the grass bag is on the machine, remove it before recycling the clippings. To remove the bag, shut off the machine and wait for all moving parts to stop, raise the rear deflector, remove the bag rod on the grass bag from the notches at the base of the handle, install the discharge plug and lower the rear deflector. You can view more information on pages 16-17 of the manual at: https://www.toro.com/getpub/268943. The discharge chute is attached at the rear, where the bag is attached. In order to avoid waste and help the environment, a side discharge chute is not included in the carton for this model (since most customers prefer to mulch or bag their grass clippings). If you do want to use a side discharge chute for your clippings in the future, you will be offered the opportunity to have one sent to you, at no additional charge, when you register your mower with Toro at www.Toro.com/register. Q: It says this model (21565) is in the color RED but the photo shows it is black. I have not seen this particular model number in RED except for the older model which the motor part was red on a black deck. I'd prefer the all black model.

Im on my second one in a month and this mower will be great if you used it every other day. Don't do weekly it doesn't like mulching.

Toro 21in Super Recycler w/ Personal Pace Gas -DOA

The mower was DOA was not able to get the mower started. Called the Belleville store where i purchased it from and they said i would return in to the Alton store which was closer for me. No one had another Toro 21 in. Super Recycler with Personal Pace Gas Lawn Mower in the area so had to get a full refund. Return process in Alton was challenging because the Sales clerk did not know how to do the return he finally got it. The manager of Alton was not very friendly or helpful that evening. Overall very disappointed this was the mower i really wanted did lots of research and then the mower was DOA when i got it home and tried to start it the next day.
No, I do not recommend this product.

This thing is a a hunk of crap. Not only does it suck at mowing unless the grass is super dry or if the deck is raised all the way up, but the rubber o ring keeps breaking on the gas cap then gas spills out everywhere when you mow.
No, I do not recommend this product.
