Easy Peasy

I bought this model to replace a front drive self-propelled one. I find this Toro rear drive to be easier to handle. I ordered the grass attachment as I don’t care to mulch at every cutting. This mower also gives a more even cut than the one I had.

Bag dosnt work, makes for an awful mowing experinc

The machine itself is reliable and worthwhile; however, the grass bag attachment really ruins it. I have had this mower for three years now and am battling the bag and its insert crevises everytime I mow. The majority of the time I end up with a face full of grass, and its misrible. I have taken it to an official Toro dealer to get it "fixed"; however, here I am covered in grass again, with it having gaps everywhere and not fitting into the frame. Its really upsetting.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Not what is was expecting

Purchased this mower on 5/27/2026 , 2 months ago, and am very unhappy with it. 3 year guaranteed start is useless. It wouldn’t start on three occasions, had to pull the start cord 12 and 20 times before it would start?
Also, I am not happy with how it mulches. Just does not mulch well, leaves grass cuttings everywhere and I mow twice a week so the grass is not too long. Lastly, does not cut evenly?!!? I have checked the wheel adjustments several times and they are what the manual state they should be.
I also did not receive an operating manual with it just a quick start guide.
Have been using Toro products for 61 years and this unit is subservient.

Self propel needs reevaluation

The self propel on this mower is set way to high. The ground speed is almost at a trot pace and for an older individual who is cutting on an incline it is almost impossible to keep up. It’s a grueling workout even cutting on flat ground. Not satisfied at all with this Toro. This was our first Toro and it will definitely be our last.
