I love the look of it. Nice clean lines with wood look. It was fairly easy to assemble. I assembled the various sections by myself (older female). Had two guys help me get the four post, sides, and ends together and upright.

This is a very nice pergola for the price. We got it during a sale and were amazed at the quality for the price. This thing is SOLID and the instructions were incredibly easy to follow along with the YouTube video instruction. It looks beautiful and sturdy. We are looking forward to enjoying it!

I was searching for a pergola that was of good quality, and that wasn't difficult to assemble. The Sunjoy Outdoor Patio 10x12 Modern Metal Frame Pergola fits the bill. The directions were clear and simple. Although having a second person to help with assembly would have been ideal, I used a couple of 2x4x8 pieces of lumber to stand up the sides, and in less than 4 hours, the frame was assembled. The two top cross-bar assemblies were relatively easy to complete; I just needed to ensure that the connecting support bars aligned with the screw holes, per the instructions. The slats were the most time-consuming because of their number. I recommend using a bit-driver or a speed wrench. Now that the pergola is completely assembled, I am very happy with the product and my decision to make the purchase. I highly recommend this product to all who are looking for a quality metal pergola that looks great on their property. You can even add a weather-proof tarp on top for total shade and shelter for your furniture or grill.

Recently put this unit together and it was extremely easy to do. Almost put the entire thing together by myself and it just took a few hours to do. Don't know how this wood finish over aluminum is going to hold up over time but for now it looks amazing. Quality product for the price.
