Pergola kit

Had to sand down sides of 4 by 4s and use sledgehammer on some so they would fit. Way to tight the opening they give you, called the company and they were it is what it is get with who you purchased it from. Definitely wouldn’t recommend for the price they charge.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Hello, as noted on our website our 4x4 brackets are designed for the use of dressed lumber. A dressed 4x4 would actually measure 3.5x3.5, be planed on all 4 sides and have rounded corners. You most likely purchased rough cut lumber or pressure treated lumber that didn't have proper drying time.
