It's good, if expensive

I don't have the equipment to test, but I'm not sure if this energizer is 1.0 or 1.4 Joule - it's variously described as 1.0 on the website, but the packaging and labeling indicate it's 1.4. Either way, it's perfectly serviceable. The instructions and interface as simple, the provided mounting/earthing post is sufficient for most conditions and it seems to work fine. Having an AC battery charger/maintainer included is a nice touch. I appreciate that it provides two output settings.

It works, keeps the bears out so far, the manual describes a much smaller unit though so good luck finding details even online. I had to write the company to find critical details such as how to know when the unit is fully charged, battery life, how long it runs without direct sunlight, the solar panel wattage, things of that nature some of which the company itself didnt even seem to know. They gave me at keast 1 false response and dodged another direct question with vague technical details.
