The Starkline 35in x 164ft Premium Sheep and Goat Electric Netting simply unrolls into a ready-to-charge electric fence system. No hassling with wires, connectors or posts is required - just connect the electric netting to an energizer and grounding rod. Starkline electric netting arrives completely assembled with 14 double-spiked fiberglass posts, 8 conductive horizontal strands and reinforced vertical struts spaced every 7 in. It's designed to protect sheep and goats, but is also perfect for protecting gardens, orchards, sweet corn patches, hemp, medium/large livestock (not advised for poultry), beehives, and desginated areas from ground-based predators and other nuisances.

- Please note: Premium Sheep and Goat Netting must be paired with an energizer. We recommend an energizer of at least 0.25J per 164ft of netting. For the electric net to be fully portable, we suggest pairing with a solar fence energizer.

I bought this fence to have a rotational grazing and temp fencing option to house our males away from our females after kidding. The fence works great, easy to install. However, it does state that it’s preferred to be a closed circuit install (with both ends attached together), however I don’t see how this is possible. That’s how I first installed it, but there are too many wires running from the energizer in every direction to make it practical. I can either sacrifice have a gated area to go in and out for food/water replenishing, or have them contained and using an alternate food/water system.

I was worried about using a fence like this as I want to rotate my sheep around on 2.5 acres. We just have barbed wire surrounding and my sheep are super wild and scared of people. The fence has worked well and no one tries to escape. Also it’s pretty good quality and seems sturdy.
