Designed for horses, goats, deer, cattle, pigs, exotics and bears, this fence energizer powers up to 100 acres or 30 miles of wire fencing and features heavy-duty wire knobs with metal inserts that guard against stripping. The 2-12V battery included with this Power Wizard fence energizer equals more power across your fence and will keep it charged longer. The plastic construction offers durable and long-lasting use.

Q: The PWS500S power switch has three positions, On, Off & Charge. Is the fencing powered when the switch is in the Charge position? Or, is the fence only powered when in the ON position?
4 years ago- A: When the switch is on charge there is no power going out to the fence. Once you do the initial 3 day charge and you put the switch to on, it will power the fence and the solar panel will continue to charge the battery while in the on position.4 years agoHelpful?
Q: Should this unit have pulse and indicator red light working the moment you turn it on out of the box? I am aware it needs to be charged for 3 days but I want to know if it’s possible to determine if the unit is functional before installing it.
4 years ago- A: You would need to make sure you install the fuse first and then yes the battery should have enough power in it to turn on. The light should flash and you should hear a clicking sound4 years agoHelpful?

Q: What is the output voltage direct from the fencer, and what is the output voltage at 100 acres of 4-5 strands of hot wire?
5 years ago- A: It can be anywhere between 6000 to 8000 volts at the terminals of the charger with nothing attached to it. This unit is only rated for 100 acres or 30 miles of fence wire so if they have 4 to 5 hot wires that would really be like trying to energize 400 to 500 acres which would be too much for this unit to energize.5 years agoHelpful?
