The Power Wizard 0.25 Joule Battery-Powered Electric Fence Energizer connects to most fencing to provide 24/7 protection. This fence controller energizes up to 25 acres or 10 miles of fence wire and boasts a 0.25 joule output. The heavy duty wire knobs on the fence energizer have metal inserts to prevent stripping for long-lasting functionality. Includes alligator clips for install.

- A: We cannot determine the this answer as the size of the animal(s) will determine the amount of joules required by your electric fence charger. A joule is a unit of energy. I had a goat jumping the fence, installed this and that goat stopped jumping. My other goat is unaffected by the jolt, but he stays inside anyway. I only wish this item had an on/off switch.

It is working well.

The controller is on a secondary fence keeping two young bulls separated. It has operated 4 weeks on a 460 CCA battery and still has a 3/16 arc. Even so I plan to put on a fresh battery soon.
