The quality varies so much per bale. It's usually dry and dusty, occasionally fresh and pleasant-smelling, but twice now has been black and wet with rot and mold. The value is hard to beat but better quality control and maybe transparent packaging would be nice.

Used for rabbits. Most of the bag doesn't make it into the feeder due to being shredded so short and immediately falls to the ground. Too much waste for the price.

Do not recommend. This is the second batch I've purchased and it is very dry and my rabbit and guinea pigs won't eat it. More than likely going to have to use it as bedding. Good price for the amount you get but disappointed that it isn't appetizing to my animals. Will never purchase again. Now I have to spend more money to get them something they will actually eat.
