The Standlee Premium Orchard Grass Compressed Hay Bale is formed by allowing Standlee Premium Western Forage to grow to the proper stage of maturity, cutting the plants, allowing them to sun-cure (dry) to an acceptable moisture level and baling the forage at the optimal time. Standlee Premium Western Forage creates compressed bales of forage from a large 4 ft. x 4 ft. x 8 ft. bale that is put through a press, sliced horizontally, pushed onto a scale, weighed, compressed and then banded. Orchard Grass forage is typically slightly higher in protein and calories compared to Timothy and can be moderate to high in sugar content. Forages are nonperishable and can last for long periods of time if stored properly. Always store forages in a cool, dry and well-ventilated area. As long as the product is properly stored, forages can last for well over a year or more. Available in approximately 50 lb. bales.

  • Natural forage length mimics grazing
  • Slow intake horse feed stimulates chewing and minimizes digestive upset
  • Convenient to handle and store this compressed hay bale
  • Recommended for: Growing (slow to moderate growth), mature and overweight horses, horses with HYPP, performance horses, mares early in pregnancy and breeding stallions
  • Available in approximately 50 lb. bales
  • Made from a large 4 ft. x 4 ft. x 8 ft. bale
  • Made in USA

Some good some very bad

The one I bought in July was bright, beautiful, clean bust very dusty. The one I got in November is old crusty, and full of mystery leaves. That I have to pick out by hand. I'd send it back but my animals can only eat orchard and they don't keep this in stores so I have to order it. And wait weeks for shipping. Im tossing more than what's getting consumed over the last batch. I'm afraid to order anymore from this company.
