Q: Is the hay sprayed with herbicides, i.e. Grazon?

1 Answer
  • Standlee® Product Expert
A: Hi there! Standlee Premium Western Forage applies herbicides and pesticides on an occasional basis, typically every two to three years, rather than annually. It’s important to emphasize that Roundup and Grazon are not used in our farming practices. Two applications of 2,4-D (Dimethylamine Salt) and Strut (diglycolamine salt) are used for our Timothy, Teff, and Orchard Grass fields, when needed – application is adjusted for specific weed control during different cuttings.

Q: Do you mix this in with feed or give sepera

1 Answer
  • AI-generated, Human-approved
A: You can do both. These pellets can be mixed with grain or other feed, or fed as a supplemental forage alongside regular hay. Reviewers also mention using them as a main ration or a "fake out" feeding for easy keepers.

Q: Can rabbits have these as feed?

1 Answer
  • A: The Standlee Premium Western Forage Certified Timothy Grass Hay Pellets are safe for rabbits, but they should only be used as a supplement and not as a primary food source. Fabulous Product!

I own an Off The Track Thoroughbred and he is an active, hard keeper. I started him on a warm mash of Certified Standlee Timothy Pellets each day at lunch. The transformation is amazing. His weight is perfect and his coat is shiny. I'd recommend adding this product to your feed schedule on all your horses.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Totally in love with Standlee’s Feed!

I love the Timothy grass pallets as iit’s so easy to soak and feed within 20 mins, not only is it easy for my horses to digest, it soaks quickly (no long waits to feed!) and no more chocking hazards! I don’t have to worry about the sugar levels for metabolic horses or hot horses, I am totally in love!!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Soaks well, palatable, my horse feels great

Helped put weight and give an overall healthier look to my older gelding that is loosing his teeth. I noticed a difference within 2 weeks, it soaks quickly and even my pickier eater loves it. I recommend this and the alfalfa to anyone who asks what I feed! He looks and feels the best he has in years
