The Standlee Premium Western Forage Certified Timothy Grass Hay Pellet Horse Feed is made from high-quality, sun-cured formed into 1/4 in. pellets that are easy to measure and easy to feed. Standlee Certified Timothy Hay is highly palatable, and low to moderate in protein. Timothy is also high in digestible fiber, promoting overall hind gut health by improving digestion and nutrient absorption. Available in 40 lb. bags. Made in the USA.

On average most horses comfortably consume 2% of their body weight in dry forage per day. This equates to 20 lb. of dry forage per day for a 1000 lb. horse. Standlee recommends that you weigh the amount of forage provided to each horse to ensure you are feeding the proper amount. Standlee also recommends that pelleted and cubed forage not be the sole source of forage since feeding some long-stem forage (hay) may help eliminate boredom and prevent stall vices. Feed Standlee Premium Western Forage at a minimum rate of 1.5% of body weight per day. Gradually replace existing hay with Standlee Premium Western Forage over a 7-10 day period. Replace existing hay on a 1 to 1 basis with Standlee Premium Western Forage. Standlee Premium Western Forage is recommended to be fed wet, soaked in water for 30 minutes or until properly softened, for horses that have dental problems or for horses that aggressively consume their feed. Never feed moldy or insect infested forage to horses. Always provide free-access to fresh, clean water. this is a great feed for all different horses and uses. I'm not huge into feeding a lot of grain so i like to use these pellets to feed with. If you have an easy keeper i love these because during feed time you can give them some of these and they think there getting grain like the other horses and you don't have to feel bad that they are not getting something. If you have a hard keeper (been there done that) feeding a few lbs of these mixed with 1/2 lb of rice brain each feeding along with good quality hay will really help pack on the lbs. for those who like the grain i like to mix a little of these with a little of the grain so there still getting grain. one of my favorite uses for these pellets is to mix meds or supplements with. if you put a cup or two of these pellets in a bucket with the meds/ supplements than get damp and let them sit for a few minuets the pellets brake down soaking up the water and the meds stick to the pellets very nicly and because the horses love the taste of the pellets they eat it all up!!! no meds/ supplements left at the bottom of the bucket!!!

Always drain the water with a colander,The pellets this time are all mixed with a large amount of sand and soil.
amount of pellets soaked in water was completely different from before, and corn was also mixed.
Elderly horses with bad teeth have no food choice,Quality is very important.
I know that the situation such as drought in recent years is severe,but hope for a sincere work standlee,

I own an Off The Track Thoroughbred and he is an active, hard keeper. I started him on a warm mash of Certified Standlee Timothy Pellets each day at lunch. The transformation is amazing. His weight is perfect and his coat is shiny. I'd recommend adding this product to your feed schedule on all your horses.

I love the Timothy grass pallets as iit’s so easy to soak and feed within 20 mins, not only is it easy for my horses to digest, it soaks quickly (no long waits to feed!) and no more chocking hazards! I don’t have to worry about the sugar levels for metabolic horses or hot horses, I am totally in love!!
