I own two other Kingspan diesel fuel tanks which work really fine. I found this particular tank online at Tractor Supply do so I bought it because it seems less expensive. It is supposed to be a 56 gallon tank. Well, the first time I filled it up being brand new and all I expected to be able to get 56 gallons in it. However, I was only able to put approximately 50 gallons in it. I was a little disappointed but ok, it is not the worst thing in the world. So, I filled the tank and drove just a few miles to my other tow diesel tanks with the intent of topping them off with this brand-new Sportsman tank. Upon arrival and hooking everything up to pump into my older two tanks, I realized there was diesel all over the top, sides, and bottom of my new tank. The fuel made the bottom of my truck bed very slippery therefore the new Sportsman tank was sliding all over my truck bed. As I pumped the fuel, the top of the new tank kept getting more fuel on it. I think it was leaking out of the connection where the hose that draws the fuel out goes into the top. I think the full port lid leaks as well. It is all a big mess and also a fire hazard. Lastly, the pickup in the bottom of the tank is not correct. The pump cavitates before all the fuel is pumped out of the tank. I cannot get all the fuel out. There still must be ten or more gallons in the bottom that I cannot extract or pump out. Therefore, that amount is unusable. There should be designed a v shaped in the internal bottom whereby the fuel goes to a lowest point and that should be where the pickup tube should be located. NOT HAPPY! I HAVE A BIG MESS TO CLEAN UP AT THE CARWASH. THE ONLY PROBLEM I AM IN SOUTH DAKOTA AND IT IS COLD HERE SO WHO WANTS TO GO TO A SELF SERVE CARWASH AND FREEZE IN ORDER TO WASH OUT THE BACK OF MY TRUCK! I AM AFRAID TO USE IT AGAIN!

Suit my needs well. My tractor has fuel fill on top of the hood. Didn’t want to scratch hood up with cans and climbing up on a ladder to watch it didn’t overflow was a hazard at age 71. This solved both issues very well

Should do the job. Not sure yet about DOT standards

The low profile is great, I dont have to keep taking it out of my truck because I can use my cover to lock up the bed. It empties in about 10 or so minutes. I use an ap so I can find the cheapest diesel around. Great item, glad I found it.
