Build a reliable and economical heating solution with the Vogelzang DR55 closed-head, sealed 55-gallon steel barrel. Designed for use with most barrel camp stove kits, this heavy-duty steel barrel allows you to create a classic barrel camp stove, ideal for workshops, cabins, camping, cooking, or any outdoor adventures. The barrel is unpainted and may show minor surface rust that can easily be sanded away. Finish color may vary from images and cannot be guaranteed.

- Includes one closed-head, sealed 55-gallon steel drum barrel suitable for use with most barrel camp stove kits
- Recommended for use with the US Stove BSK1000 or BSK2000 Barrel Camp Stove Kit (sold separately) to create an economical stove for workshops, cabins, camping, cooking, and outdoor adventures
- To create a barrel stove, cut an opening in the end of the barrel for the door and a hole in the side for the flue, attach the legs, door, and flue, and then add wood
- Heavy-duty steel construction ensures durability and long-lasting performance; top and bottom are constructed of 18-gauge steel, while the body is constructed of 20-gauge steel
- Barrel has been properly cleaned and bead blasted, ready for use
- Barrel is unpainted and may show minor surface rust that can be easily sanded out; for best appearance, we recommend applying a high-temperature stove paint
- Finish color may vary from images and cannot be guaranteed
- Oils may be present on the surfaces that will burn off during the initial use
- If using the barrel as a burn barrel, the top will need to be cut off prior to use

Lid is sealed not for use as a burn barrel

Lid doesn’t remove without spending a lot of money purchasing a metal shear, jig saw or expensive lid removal device. If you plan to buy this don’t buy it as a burn barrel for leaves.

It’s an excellent barrel, very high quality. From the picture I expected it to be open topped but it is sealed. I will have to modify it for my use.
