Rated 5 out of 5 by from Withstands tremendous heat! Picked up a couple tubes of the Rutland Stove cement and couldn’t be happier. Used it on the joint between barrels of the Tractor Supply double barrel stove kit (used to transform 55 gal. drums into a wood stove). Works significantly better and longer than the high temp silicone I tried first. At the joint, where the silicone burned off and turned to dust, the Rutland Cement has remained. The cement is black in color, It can be injected into wide gaps but small cracks seem difficult to fill just from nozzle pressure, but it can be hand troweled or applied easily. The cement cures extremely hard, maybe even brittle under vibration or impact. Doesn’t give off any awful odors when curing. Works great and doesn’t burn off.
