Manufacturer Part Number RW NYJER 50LB
Royal Wing Nyjer Seed Wild Bird Feed, 50 lb. is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 42.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from bird watching Since we have begun placing this birdseed in our feeder, I have seen a variety of birds in our yard, such as robins, cardinals, sparrows, mourning doves, blackbirds, crows, and starlings. We enjoy watching them. We use a combination of nyjer, safflower, and sunflower seed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great price for Bad Seed Bought 3 bags of this when it went on sale. Guess the old adage is true - you get what you pay for. The seeds didn’t resemble what I typically see in Wagner’s 50-pound bags. They were lighter in color, not shiny, and strangely, a tad larger. Usually, the birds will clear out my feeders within a day or two. But with this seed, they only ate a half feeder in 5-7 days. Now, I’ve gone back to the Wagner’s brand, and the birds have already eaten more in a day than in the week the Royal Wing was in the feeders. Not sure if this is an anomaly as this was my first time buying the Royal Wing brand.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 50# Seed was rotten and moldy. Ordered online. Picked up in store. Hauled home 50# bag. Opened and a cloud of dust flew up. Seed was completely dried out , not shiny and oily. Returned to store and found another 50# bag, opened it and it also was rotten. Nice but confused clerk took an hour to credit me, then re-ring me two 25# bags which I opened and checked first. It cost me $15. more for the two bags. A good manager would have sold me those at the cost of the 50# bag since the sale cost me time and trouble. If you buy this seed, insist on opening and checking it first. The 25# bag of seed is fresh and goldfinches are gobbling it up. I would add a photo but I know this negative review will never see the light of day.
