I had not expected this shirt to be as soft and stylish as it is! To be honest, I didn't buy it for hunting, so I can't testify to its suitability for such. I can say that it feels like cotton, not polyester, which is a big plus for me. Usually, polyester fabrics feel to me as though I'm wearing a plastic bag. Not this top! Also, the understated strips of solid green along the sides elevate the shirt into something more of a "street" top, which is how I'll be wearing it. On sizing, I'd advise caution and possibly going one or two sizes up, depending on the fit you're looking for. The cut is shaped enough so that there isn't a lot of bulk if you leave yourself some room. The crewneck is high/tight enough that I would not want to get my usual size.
