Q: why can't this be feed to male birds, this seems rather odd, how in the world do I keep the male birds from eating it?
11 months ago- A: Hello, thank you for your question. This feed is formulated specifically for laying hens and contains high levels of calcium to support strong eggshell production. However, roosters and other non-laying birds do not need that much calcium. Some people separate males and females for feeding, but this can be impractical for backyard flocks. The most convenient approach is to feed a universal feed like Flock Raiser to all birds and provide calcium separately for laying hens11 months agoHelpful?
Q: Will be stocking this in the stores? It is a great product but hard to find right now. Purina gifted me a few bags to test and it would 100% sell out for you.
