Only drawback is the weight. But it works great. I bought it specifically for a ground blind on uneven ground. Any time I shift the sticks, it is super easy to level. I don’t even have to look.
If there was a way to disconnect the head until ready to use, it could even be backpacked. As it is,, you’re pretty much stuck carrying them.
I knew the weight and length when I bought, so those are just wishes not disappointments. Great product.

This is a very sturdy unit. I used it on a recentbtrip to Montana hunting for elk. Easy to set up andvit provides a rock solid shooting platforn in a relatively shor period of time. The tripod is very adjustable for sitting position also. I did not use the gun rest attachment, but this would come in useful in a stationary, blind type situation. Iverall a great hunting accessory.
