Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fly Control This has almost eliminated my fly population. It was a great addition to my fly control program.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Rabon block Not sure yet. I’ve only been given my horses a small chunk everyday after reading reviews of horses eating the whole thing in a day. After 10 days I still see a ton load of gnat flies all over the manure. I’m not sure if the rabon is supposed to repel those but so far nothing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Horses love this block. As soon as I opened my tailgate, the horses were trying to get to the block. After I removed it from the box, they were even trying to lick the box it came in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A product that removes baby flies off manure I started using rabon mineral blocks as a feed through to eliminate those baby flies I see when I remove horse manure. You must be sure the block shows a horse on it. The first years I used them my horses would eat it all up within a couple of weeks. Not long lasting that way. So we started to drill holes in the block, to be Abe to take of chunk and pulverize to granular, add 5-6 ounces measured one daily and it does work like charm. No more baby flies means no more big flys. 1 block last almost 2 months. No more spays all the time,(occasionally) (smell on legs attracts flys,) sure a few flys while on legs saddling up but horses heads do not need fly masks most of the time, off we go without spray chemicals all day! Buy one, may have to order very popular not always in stock

why, aren't you supposed use this block with any other salt? This os what is on the label, but has no explanation as why.

Asked by: dale77
You want the animal to consume the Rabon block. If a salt block is also available to consume, cattle might not consume the proper amount of the Rabon block. There is salt in the Rabon block to fulfill their needs.
