Item Information

SimpliFly with LarvaStop is a highly palatable feed additive to prevent the development of stable flies and house flies in the manure of treated horses. LarvaStop breaks the fly life cycle by preventing the formation of fly larvae's exoskeletons when they molt (resulting in their death). This product contains no organophosphates and can be used as part of an integrated pest management program. SimpliFly with LarvaStop is a reduced risk pesticide.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing I was told about this product from a friend, tried on my two horses that was covered in fly bites.. This stuff worked the first day I bought it. It even helps with fleas and ticks!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Was sure it worked until I ran out I bought some of this online and used it on my 3 horses throughout the summer. The flies weren't really bad, but I didn't know if it was just light year, if the other fly baits I had near the house were keeping the numbers down, or what. Last month I ran out. I figured we're at the end of summer, so no big deal. Right? WRONG. We're having a summer-like fall this year, it'll be 85 on Halloween. Anyway, I started noticing more and more flies on the horses. Now they're covered with them as bad as they were last year before I used Simplifly. It may be too late to do much this year, but I'm definitely going to be feeding it next year! Best of all, it looks like TSC has the same price as online. Now that I know they carry it, I'll save on shipping and promote a local business at the same time!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Seems to be working My poor mares were being eaten alive by stable flies and NONE of the sprays were lasting more than 30 min. I tried EVERY formula on the market at TSC and another feed store. My mares were miserable. I have seen a great reduction in population within a couple of weeks' time. I did not see a change in a few days like the other reviewers did but I'm satisfied w/ the product now.

This product only needs to be fed once per 24hr period? How can it remain in the manure output all day/night with one dose?

Asked by: Sco0p
Time for passage through the whole hindgut can range from less than 1 day to as many as 3 days. Administering daily will allow adequate movement between doses.
