Preferred ingredients- and organic

As others have said, this feed is finely ground/powdery, looking totally different than pellet or crumble! BUT, I began hydrating (yes mixing with water) -and I use a non GMO small pellet feed (-2/3 of batch) and this Cluck&Co organic layer- (1/3 of batch) - I use half of what I would use in dry food. My girls LOVE this hydrated food- they attack it every morning! RE- hydrating food is an extra step, but it helps you use only half the regular amount of feed, it is far more digestible, plus the bonus of less water drinking and less chicken poo! Look up "rehydrating chicken feed" on Pinterest! I give them dry scratch (also Cluck&Co Organic w/other good stuff) ) at night to get in the pen and prep for bed. I've been doing this 2 weeks- my girls look healthier. if I'd done it longer w/good results I'd give 5 stars.

Dust

This must be a joke, literally the only organic option and I had to buy it since my girls were completely out. I dumped the bag and it’s practically all dust. Like no substance. If you ferment your feed then your birds should be good. But it’s literally 90% dust. A terrible waste of money.

Chickens Won't Eat It and Stopped Laying

I thought this would be a nice feed to mix with layer pellets. But it is mostly powder and my hens not only won't eat it, they stopped laying for days when I fed it to them. Don't buy!!!!

The feed is mostly powder with some oats sprinkled in. My hens didn't want to watch it, and a fair amount ended up on thr ground.

Good feed experience, 1st time delivery issue.

Been using this feed for long time, will continue to use it. However, this time ordered and delivery was cancelled and never received. Contacted customer service via website, no response, no delivery, no refund. Tractor Supply please assist.

Don’t buy

This needs to be taken off the shelves. While using it, I had two hens (out of 12) die from internal infections after developing egg peritonitis. This had never happened with other feeds. Several other hens’ feathers began separating and falling out (they weren’t molting). Yes I supplement oyster shell in a separate feeding container. I’ve gone back to the feed I used to use and everyone is healthy and feathers are back to normal.

No, I do not recommend this product.
