Rated 4 out of 5 by from Organic Goat Feed My wethers are nothing fancy - pygmy mutts of sorts - and used to foraging through out the summer months. It's been an adjustment getting them to eat feed but they seem to like this stuff. Thankful that it is organic as our organic pastured chickens scratch through their droppings. I would've given it 5 stars if it wasn't so expensive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BRING IT BACK!!! TSC says Kreamer feed stopped making it for the "off season", or "seasonal item". Called Kreamer feed (who makes this feed), they say they still make it, however, I can't find it anywhere else. So i don't know what the deal is but I fed this to my Jersey cow I was milking and her calves and I want it back. There is no better option around her for me. It worked well for my set-up and after talking to the people from Kreamer feed 2 years ago they said this feed would work fine for my dairy cows. So, somehow or another, bring it back! And keep it in stock. The all-stock feed is not the same, and not organic. And no added copper! And it would be nice to know if TSC plans to bring this back any time in the future. Or if its just seasonaly unavailable or discontiuned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Discontinued Product BRING IT BACK This is an excellent feed for Goats and we are deeply Saddened that you are no longer going to carry this product. It will force us to take our business elsewhere.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tried & True! We have been using this feed for almost two years now (ever since Tractor Supply started carrying it), and have been completely satisfied with it! Our dairy goats are happy and healthy, and so are we! We are so disappointed that Tractor Supply stopped carrying it!

Should you still provide a salt/mineral with this feed? or is what's in it enough? Just need to add the Ammonium Chloride for wethers/bucks?

Asked by: Summer Smiles Honey Farm
There is adequate salt in the feed (as long as each goat eats the recommended amount of feed); providing additional salt/minerals is not needed. Ammonium Chloride is fine to add for the wethers/bucks.

What takes the place of ammonium chloride?

Asked by: Mo M
Per the manufacturer ammonium chrloride is not used nor allowed to be used in organic feed. They do not have any other ingredient to replace it, but the feed uses balanced minerals so that it is not needed.
