My Chihuahua Dachshund mix disappeared for several hours. When we got him back the first thing we did was go down and buy one of us the PetSafe stay and play compact wireless fence. One zap later he had learned his lesson. But now we have a new problem. He came in contact with the skunk. His collar is saturated and we can't put it back on him I went to where we made the purchase but they don't have just the collar nor does petsmart. He loves to run but now he's stuck inside the fence. But thank you for such a great product. I highly recommend it.

Works great - no real trining needed - cooper has a invisible fence and home so this was a travel fence that works the same so he understood easily

The instructions say an hour to set up... more like 5 minutes. Very intuitive, effective, simple. Collars are light and easily adjustable. We have considerable elevation changes and tree growth on our property, and these factors were no issue whatsoever. I got 2 to extend the area and it was an excellent choice for our household/ situation.

I have owned this product for 5 years. Its dying and time to purchase another. I found myself reading the reviews. I think its important to point out this is not take the place of YOU training your dog. This is a guideline. If you have a hard to train dog or one who will run through the barrier you will need to purchase a shock collar with remote. It will teach your dog its barrier and the hub will act as a maintenance reminder. Product has been great and has kept my pups close and not running after the deer.

Easy and relatively quick to set up. Especially compared to In Ground systems—no digging and no “breaks” in the future! Adjusting the ‘circle’ to a rectangular lot took extra time.

Dog just ran right through it do not buy

We bought this fence a few months ago, for our hard to train escaping puppy. It worked great for the first couple of months and now the collar is malfunctioning and is beeping and zapping my dog while he is laying on my doorstep in his safe perimiter. Aside from that, it’s a great fence. But for the price point the collar shouldn’t be malfunctioning 6 months after purchase.

Easy to install, range is good, easy to use. My only issue is, the collar does not fit small dogs like shown. We had to safety pin the collar. I would suggest the maker include a couple of different sizes of collars.

We purchased the wireless fence system for our dog in November 2023, It has worked just fine since we purchased it until yesterday (6/9/25). My dog came downstairs and his collar was beeping. I took it off him and charged it as that is usually why it beeps. When I had the collar off him and I was plugging it in the collar shocked me. I went and verified the range was not changed from the standard 80-90 feet that we usually have it set to. Nothing was different with the range. We have had the transmitter in the same spot the entire time we have had it. We have had the collar on the dog constantly unless we are leaving, he is getting a bath, or the battery needs charged. I charged the collar it was flashing green. I put the collar back onto the dog and as he walked into the dining room it started beeping continuously. I took the collar off the dog and took the collar back to the kitchen(where the transmitter is located) It still kept beeping continuously until it was plugged back in. When we unplugged it again later in the evening it was fine for about 20 minutes before it started again. I did a chat today with at rep at Pet safe who told me that the collar needs to be replaced. The average price for the replacement collar is $150-170. We have not even had this system for 2 years. 19 months to be exact. I would not recommend this fencing system unless you plan to buy a replacement collar every year and a half.

I was so Happy and Excited when i received this package, i was trying to get it for long time but i was not sure if it was a good investment but i have to admit it is the best investment you can make… It is a complete package with all you need to set it up.. Works amazing and immediately Si easy to install and the material i can tell you is amazing… I have a Belgian Malinois who has so far damage at least 8 control and collars but this equipment has been on him for over a month now and he got just to it very easily and quick…. YOU NEED TO BUY IT … Also is so good at battery life..

Perfect situation for our farm! Our barn dog Sadie loves to run and explore, but there are many occasions that require her to be in a secured area, away from causing mischief or being harmed. The Stay and Play set up is compact and easy to install, and Sadie can’t run underneath it haha. We feel secure knowing Sadie is safe, without building a dog fence that a horse would surely destroy! Happy dog, happy livestock, less stressed me! Happy life for us all.

The battery life is really good and it seems very durable. We used it at my in-laws and the range was good. The installation was easy enough to figure out. The only thing I had a problem with was the collar. It will adjust down to fit a 5 pound puppy but there is all this extra collar and no place to tuck it so the puppy can't chew on it. Other than the collar issue the product works great.

It did take us about an hour to learn the set up and placement of flags in our yard. The system is portable, which can be nice if you travel with your pets. This is such a great tool. Lightweight, easy to transport, and my dog responded well to the training. The range is perfect for off leash areas and the battery is great.

Works decently well for a smaller area. I liked taking it while we traveled and camped. It made having the dog out with us easier and gave more piece of mind. I wouldn’t trust my smaller dog with this only because she’s a street rescue and I don’t think the shock would bother her lol. Set up wasn’t hard for one person.

Easy setup. I like that it is wireless. We have a 1/2 acre lot and my small dog likes to wander to other neighbor’s yards which can be a hassle. This is perfect for keeping her contained.

This wireless dog fence has been a great alternative to the traditional in-ground systems—and it’s much more affordable. It covers up to 3/4 of an acre, which is more than enough space for most in-town neighborhoods. Unfortunately what I got isn't for small or medium dogs. I was expecting it to fit my medium size dog but we had to adjust it so much it just took funny on him. We did set it up and it has a good battery life and effective range. They just need to make the strap with different sizes
