Since the collar is unaware that the transmitter has lost power, it will then begin to activate because it thinks it is outside of the boundary zone. Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) can be found at your local home and hardware stores. I bought the stubborn dog wireless no dig system a month ago since I tried the manual electric collars and GPS collars and neither one would stop her from running across the road for birds or chase the cat. Set the boundary with the flags and took her out on her leash and walked her around. At first she walked very close to flags and got her shock and would pull me away from the flags and back to house. By the end 2nd week of training took her out on leash then took her off while my husband was on other side of flags and no way would she even go close to him, before this she would have run right out to him. Week 4 and I can now let her out without leash and she will not go out past boundaries and can even go out with other 2 dogs with no issues anymore.
This has become a life saver for us and have recommended it many times to people.

Have had one of these for two years and absolutely love it. I have a large, territorial dog with a strong prey drive and the only two times he has breached it has been in pursuit of feral pigs who wandered into his territory. If the pigs stay out, he stays in and respects the boundaries even when he know pigs are in the vicinity. And he loves not having to be fenced in (which wouldn't keep him in either) or on a run so he is free to play and patrol.

Malfunction- shocked my dog in the perimeter

Got this for my dog. Was inside our kitchen which is in the perimeter when it started beeping and randomly started shocking her. It was so sad! Don’t purchase!

Beeps and Shocks Communicate Great

My dog did not like the a regular collar but the collar that has the beeps and shocks she liked. She will not go out without me putting it on. I am so pleased with it. Also the original collar had a problem and I was sent a new collar to help her get even more use to wearing it.
