My family has three dogs, and we bought 3 on the Guardian GPS 2.0 Dog Fence collars. All 3 of the collars split between the main part and the GPS antenna. The Collars are only 1.5 years old.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Collar works as advertised. I have an acre with minimal trees. Dog stays within boundaries now no problem. She is a 15 lb mini goldendoodle.

It’s okay so far.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago for my poodle puppy. We live on a small pond and she keeps going around the fence by the water to freedom. It’s super tricky to set up the boundaries. Sometimes it seems to lag a bit. Be so much easier if I could just walk the area I want to beep and vibrate rather than trying to mark it on the map. Took me 2 days to set this collar up and 5 times it almost went into the trash and set on fire. Once I finally got it paired, it was another annoying task to set up the boundaries. I still have to adjust the fence line but it’s good enough for now I guess. We shall see when she tries to escape again.
