Very happy with this GPS fence

We have been using the Guardian GPS dog fence for several weeks now and are very happy with it. After many years our PetSafe inground fence stopped working and we needed a quick solution for a roaming dog. I was hesitant to purchase this fence after reading some of the reviews but I'm so glad that I took a chance and got it. It was easy to set up, we haven't had any issues with improper corrections, and the battery life has been consistently lasting 3 days. It was an affordable option with no monthly subscription needed. We have a 3 acre lot without trees and I do think that makes it easier for the fence collar to connect to the satellites. Very happy with the purchase.

Do not buy this unless you live in an open area with good service, I live in the woods and only use starlink otherwise nothing works out here. Tested it out the whole time it was flashing red meaning it couldn’t lock on a signal, I repeat ONLY buy this if you live in an area with a good signal otherwise you’re wasting your money.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Poor boundary control
a month ago
I had this collar three weeks and returned it. I was having up to 30 feet of drift on the boundary lines. Main reason was to keep the dog out of the road and out of the woods near the house where ticks are problematic. Boundary lines had to be set far into the wood line and he could enter where I didn’t want him, next day he’s getting shocked on the porch. Road boundary lines varied way inside the yard or the complete other side of road. If you live in the middle of a 10 acre field it’s possibly a good buy, but anything inside of 1 acre with busy road or wooded areas to avoid this isn’t a good product.
No, I do not recommend this product.

It works but the collar strap is trash

The collar works well enough . It certainly beeps for longer than expected when entering back into the safe zone . Plan on replacing the strap that comes with the unit because the rubber does not stay at the tightness level you set and will likely just fall off your dog as they run around .
