Expand your In-Ground Fence boundary. Each spool of Extra In-Ground Boundary Wire comes with 500 ft. / 150 meters of 20-gauge , solid core copper wire rated for direct burial. This covers up to 1/3 acre per spool. The length of wire needed will vary due to amount of twisted wire and the layout you select. A waterproof connection is needed for proper performance when adding additional boundary wire. We recommend using our Splice Kits (RFA-366) which include wire connectors and gel-filled capsules. Q: Will this keep dogs out of my yard?

- A: Thank you for asking about this! This wire would not have any affect on dogs entering your yard. It is for use with our in-ground/wired training systems, and will only have an affect when the wire is connected to a transmitter, dogs are wearing compatible collars, and they have gone through the training process to teach them how to respond at the boundary. In that situation, it would typically be to teach dogs to stay within a boundary rather than outside of one. We do apologize for any confusion.5 months agoHelpful?

Sometimes the wire sets off the collar at the 2 ft it's set at, sometimes at 1 ft, sometimes at 1in.

Boundary wire is durable and sturdy. Will last for years if you don’t run over it with a lawn mower Lol. This is my second time purchasing this product and I am very pleased with it and I will continue to purchase this wire in the future.
