The PetSafe Basic In-Ground Fence allows you to create a secure 1/3 acre wire boundary around your yard to give your pet freedom to explore. This fence allows you to expand your best friend's play area by 5 acres with the purchase of additional wire and training flags. This In-Ground Fence kit comes with 2 UltraLight Receiver Collars. The waterproof collars feature a tone-only mode for training, plus 4 levels of adjustable correction depending on your dog's temperament. The receiver collars have a low-battery indicator that will let you know when it is time to replace the battery. The collars adjust to fit neck sizes between 6-26 inches and are recommended for pets who weigh 8 pounds and up. With the purchase of additional PetSafe In-Ground Fence receiver collars, the PetSafe Basic In-Ground Fence will contain an unlimited number of pets with a single system.

Q: How can i run this in my back yard that has a lake at the bottom of the property? I would like my dogs to be able to get into the water as well?
7 months ago- A: Thank you for this question, Jesse! It is possible to run wire across water by floating it in pool noodles. Some customers do also choose to run the wire first through aquarium airline tubing, PVC pipe, or other non-metallic conduit to help increase protection from the elements. Though it may be possible to sink the wire in conduit as another option, this would only be a suitable solution if the water is very shallow, as the signal will still need to be able to reach your dog's neck height if they are swimming.
